La Fonda was created to honour the flavours and spirit of Mexico’s traditional fondas, those beloved, family-run eateries where women have long preserved the heart of Mexican cooking. Fondas symbolize warmth, authenticity, and women’s empowerment, and La Fonda reflects that heritage through the ingredients we offer.

We specialize in providing authentic Mexican ingredients that allow anyone to cook true home-style dishes. Our current offerings include authentic corn tortillas made with traditional flavour and high quality corn flour from Mexico, nopales (cactus leaves) in strips or whole leaves, tomatillos which are perfect for salsas, and of course, the flavourful Mexican dried chillies!
